Zen Garden

gravel waves
moss hills
stone islands

birds singing
space twirling
time slowing down

No-one
Nowhere
Nothing

Nothing but Love
and so many worlds
still unknown

– deep breath

さようなら

さようなら
the sun is rising,
my heart is beating,
I’m leaving, how exciting!

I will write on the wind
you will read the clouds
thus we’ll see the world
as red-crowned cranes

and hidden spirits do.
When it’s snowing flowers
dreams bloom
under the cherry trees

and Spring reveals everything.
I promise I’ll tell you!
NOW is the time for Sakura!

Seventy Two Seasons

today
hawks have become
doves

and as surely as
the sun rises
irises and buttercups will bloom

we have plenty of time
before swallows
leave

there are Seventy Two Seasons
and so many reasons
to celebrate

Beauty
