Stronger than anything

The Great Wheel

Wahoo!
We almost flew!
And the Wheel turns,
and the Heart learns.

It’s been real!
The ride does not last long,
I must admit
what stars knew all along.

Nothing lasts!
the low Tide said,
but for that moment
in the realm of the Sunset Bird,

I know waves will ever sing
the Song without any word
and the Great Wheel
will never stop spinning.

Rising Moon
Can you see the Moon coming up?
It s a new Moon.
Can you see the Sky?
It looks like a painting!

Shades of green. Hues of blue.
Pink and purple waves.
Orange sea.  Invisible sailboats.
The Night is coming! The Sun is dreaming!

It s time for the Moon to shine!
It s time for the Wind to caress your cheek!
It’s time for your freed Soul to feel
how huge your Heart can be!

Sometimes old photos reveal
the beauty of concealed treasures
for wistful lovers’ bitter pleasures.

I’ve seen the child you were,
your smile is still the same!
How is it that yesterday seems so real?

Tell me, how could we
make Time go slower?
Why should it all end in tears?

But neither Life nor Years
are really to blame,
true Love is a never-fading flame.

If you show me
how to walk at night
in the light of myriad stars
I know I will find the path.

If you give me a sign
I most certainly will see your face
through the bright dust of constellations
and your hand will guide me.

If I look far enough
when you speak so clearly
the silent language of Midnight skies
I think I will be able to understand,

and if you whisper in my ear
golden words to tell me about
the glowing Breath of God,
I will not fear death anymore.

Silent Prayer

no wrath
no blame
no hate no fight
just a flickering candle flame
a silent prayer with open hands
words of light and flowers of peace left
at the serene place where
murdered Innocents
rest
