Abstract Poem

Blue flows, ebony bows,
oriental garden, playful arson,
half a golden sun,
tranquil purple seas, green rays,
agate slices, serene waves,
chimerical swan, concealed wand,
the last star at dawn

and a world beyond.

Love is a Garden!

Ornamental grasses
wave seductively in the wind,
flowers dream of freedom
in carefully aligned pots,
cleomes and roses grow
under the wooden arches
and poplars teach maples
how to touch the sky.

Let’s walk on the gravel path!
The place looks like
a wonderfully light-filled painting.
Summer is the painter’s name,
and butterflies can’t keep it secret:

Love is a garden!

The Password

Dreamlike landscape.
Poppy field near Argenteuil.
A place where star seeds grow.

Unfortunately
you cannot enter the Painting
unless you have the Password!

But if you open the Window
a child of the sky will whisper it softly
into your heart:

raindrops

emotion

illumination

A true Poet

I’m not a Painter,
but I dream to paint Words
like gate and path
on the wall that separates us.

I’m not a Sculptor
but I would love to carve
a few more poems
from the soft clay of Silence.

Poor me!
I’m not a Musician,
but I’m still desperately trying
to make birds of Nowhere sing.

O God of many Names!
I wish I had time enough
to live and leave as
a true Poet!

Nevermore Lake

nevermore-lake

a tear in the sky
a rip in a canvas painting
Nevermore Lake
hurt by wars and years

and the blue ripples of time
and the song without words
willow trees used to sing
after Summer had gone

and a lover on the jetty
phantom waiting mutely
for the Night to reveal where
birds of yesterday found

a haven of peace
